Shramik Special train carrying 837 people from Chennai & Puducherry reaches Mizoram

<span style="color: #222222;">The Shramik Special train today reached in Mizoram carrying 837 people from Chennai and Puducherry. These people from Mizoram have been stranded in Tamil Nadu and Puduchery due to lockdown. Followed by their arrival at Bairabi rail station situated at Mizoram-Assam border all passengers underwent screening tests at 10 screening points set up Bairabi rail station.<br />''<br />''Deputy commissioner of Kolasib district Dr H. Lalthangliana received the incoming passengers. After the screening tests, the state administration has provided dedicated bus service for dropping them to their native places.  The administration has also arranged other amenities including lunch on their way to the destinations. Officials said they will have to undergo mandatory quarantine for 14 days. Most of the passengers arrived today, have been pursuing studies and some of them working in southern states.</span><br />
