Storms and showers in different parts of state especially in eastern Uttar Pradesh during last twenty four hours brought some relief from heat wave .According to Met department in most parts of UP the mercury is down by 2 to 4 degree Celsius .The highest temperature was 43.2 degree Celsius recorded in Urai district of Jhansi division, while in Agra the temperature was recorded 40 degree Celsius during last twenty four hours. <br/>
