Show cause notice to minister for criticizing CM

In Andhra Pradesh, Information Technology Minister K. Venkat Reddy has been served show cause notice for criticising Chief Minister K. Rosaiah and deliberately lowering party prestige. The minister has been given a week’s time to give an explanation to the notice served by AICC General Secretary Janardhana Dwivedi. The minister earlier criticized Chief Minister Rosaiah alleging him of acting like the Chief Minister of Andhra region. He has been asked to clarify his stand on not taking back resignation from the cabinet and also from Assembly. Venkat Reddy however refused to comment on the show cause notice.
The Congress party leaders from Telangana region continued criticizing the Chief Minister for precipitating the political crisis in the state.
Meanwhile, highly-placed Congress sources said, representatives from three regions of the state — Coastal Andhra, Rayalaseema and Telangana — will be sent for the 8-party meeting convened by Home Minister P Chidambaram in New Delhi on Tuesday. Chief Minister K Rosaiah will also attend the meeting. TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has already announced that he would attend the meeting.
