In Gujarat, senior IPS officer Rahul Sharma has filed a petition against the State Government decision of not providing ground on which he was served show cause notice over call records of 2002 Gujarat riots. Show cause notice was served to Rahul Sharma on 5th February- asking why he should not be charge sheeted for giving CDs of call records of Godhara riots to various agencies including Special Investigation Team.
