In Germany, several people were wounded when shots were fired at a commuter rail station near the southern city of Munich today. Authorities reported that a handgun was fired during a police operation at an S-Bahn station in Unterfoehring, a northeastern suburb of the Bavarian city. <br/><br/>In a tweet police said the perpetrator shot at a female police officer during an ID check and the officer sustained serious injury. According to the police, one person was detained in connection with the shooting. The situation is under control and the area was cordoned off said the police.
