In Mizoram, some roadside shops may make a traveller wonder while travelling on the highway along Aizawl to Seling. These roadside shops look mere traditional and are erected on makeshift structures. Yet, these shops are unusual with no shopkeeper found keeping guard and selling products.<br />'' <br />''Even in the current situations of COVID-19 pandemic, these shops are remaining open from dawn to dusk and products are sold out. These shops without shopkeepers are locally known as 'Nghahloh Dawr', wherein farmers put their produce- whether it's fruits, vegetables, bottles of fruit juice and dried fish.<br />'' <br />''The prices for vegetables are generally written on cardboards or wrapper and a cash container is kept alongside so that the customers put money on the price of the product bought. If any customer needs change, he or she can simply pick up the change from the same cash container.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">A local veteran citizen said, these shops are run by local farmers, who after keeping all stuff at the shop return to their far away fields at the uphill or gorge to toil for more produce. He said there is little risk of theft because honesty is wholesome in Mizo culture. He further said, the shopkeepers have never complained anywhere of a loss or alike of their products kept open for sale.</span><br />
