Commonwealth Games Gold medalist Jitu Rai became the first Indian to book a berth for the 2016 Rio Olympics after clinching the silver medal in the men's 50 metre pistol event at the World Championships in Granada, Spain today. The ace Indian shooter shot a total of 191.1 to fetch the silver while the gold went to South Korean Jin Jongh who shot 192.3. Chinese shooter Pang Wei shot 172.6, to settle for the bronze.The World Championship silver is Jitu's fifth consecutive international medal in the year 2014.
