Shoot to kill order issued to end violence in Kyrgyzstan

Fighting mobs have killed about a hundred people and wounded more than 1100 in Kyrgyzstan's south, prompting the interim government to send reserve forces to try to quell a third day chaos. <br/><br/>Kyrgyzstan's interm government has given shoot to kill order to its security forces after deadly riots erupted between ethnic Uzbeks and Kyrgyzs in the southern cities of Osh and Jalalabad. <br/><br/>Interim President Roza Otunbayeva is blaming supporters of ousted President Kurmanbek Bakiyev for instigating the violence in an attempt to disrupt a Constitution referendum on reducing presidential powers slated for later this month. <br/><br/>Speaking from outside the country, Mr. Bakiyev denied any role in the violence. The riots are the worst since Mr. Bakiyev was ousted in April and fled the country.
