The current Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also asked Mr. Arjun Singh to explain the circumstances in which the former Union Carbide Chief left. He was speaking to reporters in New Delhi.<br/><br/>The BJP has demanded an impartial probe into the circumstances which led to the escape of Anderson after the tragedy struck Bhopal. CPI General Secretary, A.B. Bardhan demanded that all those responsible for the gas leak including the former Union Carbide Chief should be brought back to India and tried. He said that justice has been denied to the victims after 26 years and demanded enactment of a new law to prevent such accidents in future.<br/><br/>The tragedy struck Bhopal city in 1984 and left more than 15000 people dead. On Monday, a Bhopal court had convicted all the eight accused in the gas tragedy case on the grounds of negligence. The court granted bail to seven and one accused has already died. Warren Anderson has been proclaimed as an absconder.
