A Fast Track Court in Bangaluru has sentenced the convict cab driver Shiva Kumar to life sentence till death, in the rape and murder of BPO employee Pratibha Srikrishnamurthy case.The Judge B V Guddali considered the crime committed by Shiva Kumar as heinous and gruesome and declared that Shiva Kumar will have to undergo 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for Kidnap, 20 years for rape and life term till death for murder of Pratibha. He also ordered a fine of 30,000 rupees for the crime committed by him.Pratibha was 28 when the tragedy struck. The BPO employee was raped and brutally murdered by driver Shiva Kumar while he was taking her to the BPO facility.
