Shiv Sena’s verbal attack on Sachin Tendulkar continues. After Sena chief Bal Thackeray criticised Tendulkar for saying that "Mumbai is for all Indians", his party's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut questioned the veteran batsman's contribution to Maharashtra in Sena mouthpiece 'Saamna', on Sunday. <br/>Comparing Tendulkar and fellow Mumbaikar Sunil Gavaskar, Raut said that there has been no instance of Sachin extending a helping hand to other Marathi cricketers. He said that Gavaskar ensured that Suru Nayak and Zulpikar Parkar played Test cricket. He said that Sachin plays for BCCI and not for India. He also added that Sachin may be a big cricketer, but he is not bigger than Maharashtra. Sachin has not sacrificed his life for the country like Lokmanya Tilak, Bhagat Singh and Rajguru. <br/> Earlier, Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray had slammed Tendulkar for saying that Mumbai belonged to all Indians.
