Ruling NDA ally Shiv Sena joined a meeting with the opposition parties yesterday, to work out a strategy to thwart the proposed changes in the Land Bill. The party has reservations on the Land Bill which is currently with the Joint Committee of Parliament.<br/><br/>While Congress submitted its list of amendments to the parliamentary panel seeking withdrawal of changes in the Act and asking for uniform compensation, CPI (M) is to submit its recommendations soon.<br/><br/>The parliamentary committee headed by BJP MP S S Ahluwalia had decided to seek time till 5th of next month to submit its report.
