The Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi has demanded that Centre should take a decision soon to resolve the boundary dispute between Maharashtra and Karnataka. Speaking to reporters outside Parliament today, Mr. Joshi alleged that the Centre has not been paying attention to the issue and it should call a meeting of the Chief Ministers of the two states in this regard. He also said that the Marathi speaking areas in Karnataka should be merged with Maharashtra pending which these areas should be declared as Union Territories. Several MPs from Shiv Sena also demonstrated in front of the main gate of parliament.
