Shiv Sena activists detained for attacking residence of Manoj Tiwari

Mumbai police today detained sixteen Shiv Sena activists for allegedly attacking the residence of Bhojpuri singer actor Manoj Tiwari in suburban Mumbai on Monday. Tiwari's spokesman Shashikant Singh said the mob came at the bungalow of Tiwari around 9 pm yesterday at MHADA in Four Bungalows area and asked his staff that they wanted to meet the actor. When they were told that Tiwari was out of town, they started pelting stones. They also said Tiwari had made a statement against Shiv Sena while commenting over Sena supremo Bal Thackeray's comments on Sachin Tendulkar, he claimed. Singh said Tiwari has denied reacting on the Thackeray-Tendulkar issue.<br/><br/>
