Shiv Rajyabhishek Din is being celebrated in Maharashtra to mark the coronation day of the great Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Maharashtra Rural Development Department had asked the District Councils , Block Councils and Village Councils to celebrate this day as Shiv Swarajya din. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope hoisted the Saffron Flag and erected the Gudi in the premises of Jalna Zilla Parishad and extended the greetings of the coronation day to the people. The 348th  Coronation Ceremony was celebrated at Raigad Fort where Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was crowned  as the Chhatrapati of the Maratha Kingdom on June 6, 1674.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">BJP MP Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati performed abhishek on the statue of Shivaji Maharaj and paid tributes to the warrior king. Many events were organised at various district headquarters in the state following Covid-19 protocols. </span><br />
