In Maharashtra, at least 32 pilgrims were killed and 16 injured in a road accident in Osmanabad district on Friday night.

The accident occurred when the driver of the ill-fated bus lost control and it fell into a river.

The bus was going to Shirdi from Hydeabad.

The injured have been admitted to Government hospitals in Osmanabad and Solapur. Police said all passengers were from Andhra Pradesh.
