Shipping ministry to hold hi-level meeting to discuss proposed port workers' strike

The shipping Ministry has called a high level meeting in New Delhi tomorrow in view of the proposed nation wide indefinite strike called by port Unions. The Union Minister of state for shipping Mr. Mukul Ray said in West Bengal that representatives of port authorities across the country and the Union government will participate in the meeting. He hoped the strikers will wait for the outcome to tomorrow's meeting. The all India Port and tock workers federation has called nation wide indefinite strike from midnight tonight demanding rise in wages and sorting out their other issues.
