Shipping Corporation of India, in collaboration with Union Shipping Ministry organised "Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sammelan" in Mumbai on Thursday. The seminar was held to showcase the government's achievements in shipping sector. <br/><br/>Addressing the gathering, Shipping Corporation's CMD, Captain Anoop Kumar Sharma spoke about the pivotal role played by 'SCI Yamuna' and 'SCI Nalanda' in the Mars Orbiter Mission. He also talked about the corporation's CSR initiatives like providing bicycles to girls belonging to financially weaker sections in Orissa; setting up Solar Photovoltaic Based Led Street Lighting Systems at various villages of Purnia, Bihar. <br/><br/><br/>He also informed about Shipping Corporation's contribution in the fields of maritime education and national sports and supporting the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by constructing toilets in Maharashtra, West Bengal, Punjab, Rajasthan and Port Blair.<br/>
