Home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde today said, he will take up the file on mercy petition of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru after the winter session of Parliament. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi Shinde said, the file has come back from Rastrapati Bhavan. He also said, the infiltration from across the border in Jammu and Kashmir is on the increase. Mr. Shinde however said, no untoward incident has taken place. He also reiterated that the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) will not be withdrawn from the state until situation improves.
On Telegana, the home minister said, the meeting of all parties from Andhra pradesh will be held on 28th of this month. He said, the process of consultation will continue till the issue is resolved.
