Shinde pays tribute to slain security men in Chh'garh; reviews security for Bastar poll

Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde paid homage to the 15 slain security personnel at Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh today. These security personnel were killed in a Maoist attack near Tongpal in Sukma district yesterday.

State Governor Shekhar Dutt and Chief Minister Raman Singh also paid tributes to slain security personnel. Later, Mr Shinde held a meeting with the Governor, the Chief Minister and senior officers of state police and central forces in Jagdalpur. The Home Minister also reviewed preparations for security arrangements for Lok Sabha polls to be held in Bastar constituency on the 10th of April.
