Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde today said that people from the northeast region of the country are safe in Karnataka. Talking to reporters out side Parliament today, he warned that those spreading rumours will be severely punished. Mr Shinde said that all steps have been taken to maintain peace in the State.
