Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said a total of 16 persons were killed and 117 injured in twin bomb blasts yesterday.

Making a statement in Lok Sabha Shinde said preliminary investigation revealed that the improvised explosive devises were placed on bicycles causing explosions at two places in Dilsukhnagar areas of the city.

He said two cases have been registered in connections with the blasts. The Home Minister said the NIA will investigate the case along with Andhra Pradesh police.
