The Indian cricket team, now touring Sri Lanka, suffered a huge blow after their in-form opener Shikhar Dhawan was on Monday ruled out of the remainder of the 3-Test series. Dhawan had suffered a hairline fracture in his right hand during the first Test at Galle. A BCCI media release said that the batsman would require four to six weeks to recover from the injury. The team management is yet to announce the name of a replacement for Dhawan. India now trail 0-1 in the series after losing the first Test by 63 runs. The second Test starts on Thursday in Colombo.
