Shibu Soren to be sworn in as Jharkhand CM on Wednesday

JMM President Shibu Soren will take over as Chief Minister of Jharkhand on Wednesday. It will be his third term as Chief Minister of the State. Jharkhand Governor K Sankar Nanaryanan invited Mr Soren to form a new government in the state. The Governor is expected to issue a formal communique in this regard on Monday in which he is likely to fix a date for Mr Soren to prove his majority on the floor of the House. The President's rule which is in force since January this year in the state is also likely to be revoked today.<br/><br/>The JMM-led coalition has a support of 46 MLAs in the 81-member Assembly. There is no word on whether BJP and JD-U will be part of the government.<br/>
