Grandmaster Pentala Harikrishna has started his campaign in the Shenzhen Longgang Chess Grand Master tournament with a draw against Peter Svidler of Russia. In the event being held at Shenzhen in China, the two players decided to share the point after 30 moves. The tournament, which is being played in a double round robin format, features five other Grandmasters. The winner will pocket a prize money money of 12,000 US Dollars, while the runner-up will get 6,000 US Dollars. The third-placed player will collect 4,000 US dollars.
