Sheila Dikshit rejects Sahara diaries' charges, weakens Rahul's attack on PM Modi

Senior Congress leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has dismissed the charges made in Sahara and Birla diaries, puncturing Rahul Gandhi's corruption allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Her name also figured in the list on which basis Congress Vice President had made allegations.<br/><br/>Ms. Dikshit said, it is hearsay and there is no iota of truth in the allegations. She also said the Supreme Court had already made observations on them. On Congress tweet on the Sahara diaries' list, which also includes her name, she said it has surprised her. <br/>Meanwhile, Congress leader Tom Vadakkan said Ms Dikshit is not saying anything contradictory and Congress wants a probe into the allegations. <br/><br/>Last week, Rahul Gandhi had made corruption allegations against Narendra Modi, as Gujarat Chief Minister which were rejected by the BJP as baseless. <br/><br/>The party had also citied court's observations which found no merit in the allegations.
