<span style="color: #222222;">Bangladesh Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina formally inaugurated the 70th founding day programmes of the party by hoisting the national flag in Dhaka today.<br />'' <br />'' She also laid a wreath at the portrait of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said, Bangladesh attained independence with the sacrifice of three million martyrs in fighting the occupation forces of Pakistan in 1971.<br />'' <br />'' She recalled the sacrifice for establishing the rights of the people in the country. Ms Hasina said, the country is progressing and it has attained its glory that was lost due to the killing of the Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.<br />'' <br />''Apart from Ms Hasina, a large number of senior leaders of the party and Ministers were present on the occasion.</span><br />
