In Madhya Pradesh, a team of forensic experts from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) began investigations in Bhopal on Thursday in connection with the murder of RTI activist Shehla Masood.
According to CBI sources, the team led by T D Dogra, Head of Forensic Sciences Department, AIIMS, is examining evidences gathered by the local and central forensic department officials.
Earlier biological and ballistic experts of Central Forensic Science Laboratory had visited Bhopal and collected vital clues.
AIR correspondent reports, Shehla Masood was shot dead outside her residence in Koh-e-Fiza locality in Bhopal on August 16 last year. The case was initially probed by the local police.
Later it was handed over to the CBI. CBI has announced an award of five lakhs rupees for anyone providing credible information about the murder.
