Mumbai Police today recorded the statement of former Star India CEO Peter Mukerjea in the Sheena Bora murder case. It is learnt that Peter Mukerjea was brought face to face with his wife Indrani, allegedly the prime accused in the case. The two other people arrested in the case, Indrani's ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai was also present during the joint interrogation.<br/><br/>Last week, Peter Mukerjea had submitted a written statement to the police which they had refused to accept and asked Mukerjea to be present for questioning when required. Peter Mukerjea, who has been married to Indrani for 13 years and set up a media company with her, had first said that he was unaware that Sheena Bora was his stepdaughter. A few days after Indrani's arrest, Peter Mukerjea amended his version to say that sometime in 2011, Sheena Bora had informed him about the fact but he had refused to believe. <br/><br/>He claimed that the same thing was communicated to him by his son and Sheena's fiance Rahul Mukerjea, but he had not believed him as well. In today's questioning, the police quizzed Peter Mukerjea regarding his financial transactions and business dealings, in an effort to ascertain if there was any money parked with Sheena and if this was the source of discord that may have led to the murder.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police today visited Peter Mukerjea's house in Worli and seized some documents along with a laptop and diary. In the other search at Sanjeev Khanna's Kolkata house, the police seized some financial documents and electronic gadgets.<br/><br/>It was also learnt that Mumbai Police was also trying to talk to Siddharth Das, who has claimed to be Sheena Bora's biological father.
