A special CBI court has adjourned the hearing on the bail application of Indrani Mukerjea till March 31. Indrani is the prime accused in her daughter Sheena Bora's murder case. She had moved an application last month seeking bail on medical grounds. Her lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani told the court that Indrani's health problems are not getting resolved which is a cause of concern and appealed for examination of her latest health condition. Contesting Jethmalani, the prosecution presented some of her recent medical reports in the court and said she was monitored 24×7. Following the arguments, Judge adjourned the hearing till March 31st. Last year, on November 19, Peter Mukerjea, husband of Indrani, was also arrested for his alleged role in the murder case. He has been kept at the high-security Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai where Khanna and Rai are also lodged. 24-year-old Sheena was allegedly strangled in a car and her body burnt and dumped in a forest in Raigad, about 84 kms from Mumbai in 2012.
