Sharjah Court of Appeals has fixed 16 June as the next date for hearing of appeals related to death penalty of 17 Indians who were found guilty by the Sharjah Shariah Court of killing a Pakistani national and injuring three of his compatriots.<br/><br/>The advocate of the Indians Ms. Bindu Suresh Chettur told AIR today that court has given the next date for arranging the Punjabi interpreter for them.<br/><br/>The Indian Consulate, on the instructions of government of India, has hired the prominent law firm to represent the Indians. The officers from the consulate are regularly meting all seventeen Indians who are keeping good health.<br/><br/>The convicted, 16 from the Punjab and one from Haryana, were found guilty by the Sharjah Shariah Court of killing a Pakistani national and injuring three of his compatriots allegedly during a clash in January 2009. Out of 17 people, 16 belong to Punjab and one from Haryana.
