JD(U) is set to elect a new President in its National Council meeting in New Delhi on 10th of this month as present incumbent Sharad Yadav has decided not to seek a fourth term. <br/><br/>Mr. Yadav's has completed his three successive terms and now refused to make any amendment in the party constitution to pave the way for his return as chief. <br/><br/>He is one of the founder leaders of the party along with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. There is a buzz in the party that Mr. Kumar himself may become the party president.
