The scenario for Presidential election is hotting up with NDA convenor Sharad Yadav saying that discussions are going on for finalising the Presidential candidate. Talking to reporters in New Delhi this morning, Mr. Yadav said that a meeting of all the allies will be called at an appropriate time, if needed.

AIR correspondent reports that the NDA meet which was likely to take place in New Delhi this morning could not take place.The UPA has already nominated Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee as its Presidential candidate.
