Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Film Festival will be held from the 27th to the 31st of this month in Mumbai. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi today, Additional Secretary in Information and Broadcasting Ministry Neerja Shekhar said, 57 films will be screened during the SCO Film Festival. She said, the film festival aims to build cinematic partnerships and act as a bridge between the cultures of various countries in the SCO. It will also create synergies in the film fraternity of SCO Members by way of collective cinematic experience.<br />''<br />''The Marathi film Godavari directed by Nikhil Mahajan and Gujarati film the Last Film Show directed by Pan Nalin is nominated from India. The SCO Film Festival is being organized to mark India's Presidency at SCO. The SCO currently comprises eight Member States.
