Shahzad planned to attack four more targets in US

Faisal Shahzad, New York Times Square botched car bombing suspect, had planned to attack four other targets if his Times Square attack plot succeeded. According to a Fox 5 TV channel report, the suspect is said to have told interrogators that he wanted to hit Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Terminal, the World Financial Center and the Connecticut headquarters of defense contractor Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. The report said Faisal Shahzad had picked out May 1 and May 8 as alternatives, because these two dates just fell on Sunday. He had chosen the time of 6.30 pm for the attack, as it would be the most crowded during that time. The report also noted that his rapports in Pakistan had suggested him to buy the fireworks and fertilizer over a period of time in order to avoid suspicions.
