Shahnameh-the everlasting heritage of Persia begins in Delhi

An exhibition titled Shahnameh-the everlasting heritage of Persia began in New Delhi today. It was organised by National Archives of India in collaboration with the Iran Culture House. The exhibition highlights selected folios of the Baysonghori manuscripts of the Shahnameh of Firdausi. It will remain open between 10 am to 5.30 pm till 10th of next month. It was inaugurated by Iranian Ambassador Saiyad Mehdi Nabizadeh at the National Archives of India. The Director General of National Archives of India, Prof. Mushirul Hasan was also present on the occasion.
