The second 'Shahi Snan' of the ongoing Kumbh Mela is in full swing now. Devotees are taking Holy Dip in Godavari River at different places from Midnight. Now main places for Holi Dip, Kushavart at Tryambakeshwar and Ramkund at Nashik are also opened for them after 11:30 in the Morning when Shahi Snan of Sadhus and Mahantas was over. <br/><br/>After royal processions of akhadas with flags, swords, trishul, amid beating of drums around 30 to 40 thousand Vaishnav Sadhus and Mahants took Royal Bath at Ramkunda and around 10 thousand Shaiva Sadhus and Mahantas including Naga sadhus took the Royal bath at Kushvarta Teerth. <br/><br/>There is a sizable increase this time in number of devotees compared to first Shahi Snan. It is expected that till Midnight more than 12 to 15 Lakh Pilgrims will take Holy Bath in Godavari. This time because of relaxation in restrictions Pilgrims could have easy access to various Ghatas on this sacred river. Mahant Narendragirti Maharaj of Niranjani Akhada expressed satisfaction about arrangements made by Government this time.
