In UP, the normal traffic has been restored on Shahganj-Jaunpur rail route after repair of damaged tracks. The rail traffic was disrupted after a train accident on May 31, in which five bogies of the Doon Express were derailed near the Mehrawan railway station in Jaunpur district.Five people were killed and 30 others were injured in the incident.Meanwhile, Railway Minister Mukul Rai has said that a Train Protection Warning System would be installed soon in the trains to minimise accidents. He said the Railway Board had been instructed to develop such device.The device is already in use in the trains of European countries.
