Severe protest leads to tightening of security in Thailand

Security has been tightened in Thailand after thousands of protesters loyal to ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, poured several jugs of their own blood at the front gate of the Government Headquarters in Bangkok.<br/><br/>The red-shirt protestors are demanding the dissolution of Parliament. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has refused to call an election saying that the government has also to listen to voices of the people other than protestors.
