Severe heatwave continued in entire Uttar Pradesh today. The day’s maximum temperature ranged between 38 to 42 degrees Celsius, 2 notches below from yesterday. Light shower along with dust storm has occurred in some western districts. Our Gorakhpur correspondent reports that however, the normal life remains paralyses in eastern part. The people remained indoors today to save themselves from Sun stroke. The sky was misty while the humidity has increased in various districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. At least one death due to heat stroke has been reported in the state during last twenty four hours. The weathermen have predicted dust storm at many places in Azamgarh, Gorakhpur and Basti divisions during next 24 hours.
