Severe heat wave is continuing in Rajasthan. Mercury touched 48 degree Celcius at Churu on Tuesday. Maximum Temperature at Sriganganagar was recorded 47.8 and at Bikaner it was 46.5 degree Celsius.Temperatures were above 45 degree at Sawai Madhopur,Bundi and Barmer.People of Jaipur on Tuesday got some relief from heat in the afternoon due to dust storm but day temp was recorded 43.6 degree Celsius.Northern and western parts of the state are facing severe heatwave situation since one week and it may continue for next two -three days.District Administration of Churu has decided to spray of water on roads to reduce the impact of heat. Director of Jaipur met office S,S, Singh said that Pre monsoon activities may start in next 48 hours in eastern parts of the state. Meanwhile light rain has also recorded at few places in Kota, Dausa and Bundi districts.
