Severe Heat wave conditions continue unbated in northern, central and western parts of the country. <br/><br/>The heatwave continues unabated in the national capital with the mercury touching 45.2 degree celcius.<br/><br/>This is a degree more than the yesterday's temperature and four degrees above normal. Met office has no good news for Delhiets as heatwave conditions are likely to continue tomorrow as well the temperature to further peak 46 degrees.<br/><br/><br/>Kota in Rajasthan was the hottest region yesterday with the mercury settling at 48.4 degrees. The temperature crossed the 48 degree mark in Sriganganagar and Jaisalmer as well.<br/><br/>Heat wave conditions also prevailed over north and Kutch region of Gujarat with Bhavnagar boiling at 45.1 degree celsius and the mercury settling at 44.4 degrees in Ahmedabad <br/><br/>Punjab and Haryana too witnessed intense heat with Hisar recording its hottest day in over a decade at 48.1 degrees, seven degrees above the normal. At 45.9 degree celsius Amritsar recorded its highest temperature this season. <br/><br/>In Maharastra, Nagpur sizzled at 47.2 degrees while the temperature was 48.3 degrees in Bramhapuri and 48 degree celsius Wardha.<br/><br/>With hot winds blowing across several places, National Capital also didn’t receive any respite from the rising mercury. The maximum temperature settled at 44.6 degrees and the minimum at 29.6 degrees.<br/><br/>Severe heat wave conditions continue unabated in most parts of Madhya Pradesh. However, it has predicted thunder showers in Gwalior and Chambal divisions. <br/><br/>In UP, the intense heat is still tormenting the people while the temperature is once again on rise in central and eastern regions after a brief respite. The people are facing hardship due to increased humidity.
