Severe heat wave across India

Severe heat wave conditions are prevailing over the northern and western parts of India. Highest maximum temperature of 46.6 degree Celsius was recorded today at Idar in Gujarat. <br/>Most parts of Northern India – Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh – are reeling under heat wave conditions. In Delhi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 43.7 degree Celsius which is the highest in this season.<br/> <br/> Minimum temperature was recorded at 26.5 degree Celsius which is also 6 degree above the normal. Weatherman says there will not be any let up in this heat wave for two to three days and the temperature is likely to rise up to 44 degree Celsius tomorrow<br/>
