<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The effect of severe cyclonic storm 'Mocha' will be indirectly felt in the state of Tripura from 13 to 16 May, the MeT department said today.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"> </p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Talking to Akashvani, Director, MeT centre Agartala Nahush Kulkarni said the severe cyclonic storm Mocha will make landfall at Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh and Sittwe in Myanmar on the noon of May 14. He said there will be widespread rainfall in Tripura. However, heavy rainfall will be witnessed at isolated places in South Tripura, Gomati, and Dhalai districts on May 13. On May 14, very heavy rainfall will be witnessed in North Tripura, Unakoti, South Tripura, and Dhalai districts. He urged farmers to make use of 'Meghdoot' and 'Sachet' mobile apps for agriculture-related issues during the activity of severe cyclonic storms.
