The Severe Cyclonic Storm Hamoon over Northeast Bay of Bengal moved nearly northeastwards with a speed of 17 kilometres per hour and weakened into a Cyclonic Storm. It crossed Bangladesh's coast last night to the south of Chittagong as a Cyclonic Storm with a wind speed of 75 to 85 kilometres per hour gusting to 95 kilometres per hour.
