The Cold Wave Conditions in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir is prevailing unabated with both minimum and maximum temperature are hovering below 0 degree Celsius. AIR correspondent reports, The minimum temperature in Leh town was recorded minus 16.2 Degree Celcius while the Maximum temperature was remained minus 1.4 Degree Celsius. In Kargil town , the other town of this cold desert of the country , the minimum temperature slipped to minus 16.4 Degree Celcius . The prevailing biting cold weather has badly affected the normal life with people are force to remained mostly indoor.Meanwhile, severe cold wave for last few days has claimed over 45 lives in Jharkhand this winter with capital Ranchi recording the highest 11 deaths according to official reports. Primary schools in the state have been closed till Sunday due to the ongoing cold wave. In ten of the 24 districts of the state, the temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius.Ranchi recorded a minimum of 4.2 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, while one of its locality Kanke recorded 0.5 degree.
