In Sikkim, severe cold wave conditions continue for the last three days despite a brief span of bright sun shine, from morning to afternoon, yesterday. The upper reaches of the State continue to record a heavy snowfall, rendering popular tourists destinations like Nathula, Changu Lake, Yumthang and Gurudongmar out of bounds for the tourists and the locals alike. However, they are enjoying lots of snowfall even at the places within their reach.
