Severe cold conditions prevailing in Uttar Pradesh

Severe cold conditions are prevailing in Uttar Pradesh due to fall in both day and night temperatures. Churk recorded the minimum temperature of 0.6 degree Celsius on Monday night which was the lowest in the state. The average Minimum temperature was recorded 5 degree Celsius in many places while day temperatures also went down and maximum temperature recorded 10 degree below normal in various places. According to reports more than two dozen people have so far died due to severe cold
