Severe cold conditions following snowfall and rain have disrupted the normal life in hilly areas of Uttarakhand. In Uttarkashi, Rishikesh-Gangotri national highway has been blocked following the snowfall at Harshil. Vehicular traffic on Pithoragarh-Munsyari and some other roads have been disrupted due to bad weather. Met department predicts snowfall at higher reaches and rain in other parts in the next 48 hours.
