Severe cold condition is prevailing in several parts of Uttar Pradesh. In some places in western UP, the lowest temperature touches 3 to 4 degrees Celsius during last twenty four hours.According to met Department Meerut and Naziabad recorded minimum temperature 3.5 degree Celsius during last twenty four hours which was lowest in the state. The North western wind also dips temperature in western UP.Early morning dense fog in several parts of UP disturbs normal Road and Rail traffic and several long distance trains are running late. Due to fog, the UP Road ways are also getting less number of passengers in Morning hours.The Met department predicts that dense fog may occur in many places of western Uttar Pradesh during morning hours. The Met department says that in several places of Eastern UP, specially in Gorakhpur division has also recorded at least four degree below normal minimum temperature during last twenty four hours. Gorakhpur recorded lowest 6.3 degree Celsius and Baharich 5.5 DC,and Kanpur 6.6 degree Celsius since Sunday night.
